Many property owners and vacation rental managers have rates that vary by the number of guests in the group. Some allow children to stay for free, others charge for children. InnFirst.com now support all of these scenarios.
Per person rates are disabled by default. To turn on per person rates, please login to your account and edit each property or room that should have rates that vary by the total # of guests in the unit or room.
Go to the “rates” tab:
and click on the link for “Rate Settings”:
Next enable “per person” rates and decide whether or not to include children in the calculation of total guests.
Once per person rates are enabled please return to the daily, weekly and monthly rates and setup the rate bands for the total # of guests.
Once per person rates are enabled the daily, weekly and monthly rates area now have a new column for “# of Guests”. By clicking on the “+” symbil you can add different rates bands for each rate period that vary by the total number of guests.
So if you have a high season, and your unit or room rents for $800.00 per night for 1 to 2 total guests and $850 per night for >2 total guests, then you would have two rate bands. The maximum number of guests for each room is determined by the number that was entered in the accommodations tab during setup.
If this number has not been setup or needs to be edited, please visit the accommodations tab and setup the maximum number of guests with the correct number for your property or room.
