InnFirst.com will soon launch support for PayPal. A vacation rental property owner will be able to select PayPal as their preferred payment method. The integration of PayPal will allow guests to choose PayPal to pay for their initial reservation deposit. Once the deposit has been paid via PayPal, the property owner will be notified they they need to login to their InnFirst.com account to confirm or reject the new reservation.
The property owner will confirm the reservation by being taken to PayPal, logging in to their PayPal account and “capturing” the fund which were sent. If the property owner wishes to reject the reservation, a similar process will be followed except the property owner will “void” the payment.
InnFirst.com will communicate behind the scenes with PayPal to update account payments / voids / refunds, etc.
The one disadvantage to PayPal is that the property owner never receives the guest credit card details. Thus the guest needs to be invoiced when the remaining balance is due.
