Let me just say that I have no idea how relative novices create a Facebook fan page.  I spent hours on this over the past few days.   It finally is starting to make sense, but I almost gave up several times.

1) Connecting your blog to a Facebook Fan Page is not easy

2) Differentiating between a Facebook profile and a Facebook page is confusing to say the least

3) Understanding and implementing a Facebook application (eg a HTML Box) is crazy confusing

4) Understand “Facebook Connect” and choosing the correct plugin so that your blog posts can appear on your Facebook PAGE wall is nuts and then troubleshooting the various settings to get it to work requires tedious reading of support forums.

And now I have 3 fans of my new Facebook Fan Page.   I need at least 25 fans to get a custom URL, so if you are a Facebook user and if you would be so kind as to click on the “like” button to the right under the Facebook banner that would be great and much appreciated!
